Trio Mio celebrates his KCSE results and shames the nay-sayers.

Kenyan artiste Trio Mio who recently sat for the KCSE is in a great celebratory mood today as he celebrates success and great exam results. The young rapper is said to have scored an A- in his exam and now looks forward to further his studies in university. It is not clear however, which university or course the rapper wishes to pursue but rumours has it he might study abroad to enable him better balance his studies and music career that started at a rather young age in his early teens.

For naysayers that doubt the rappers brilliance off the mic, he has undoubtedly proven that, with dedication, it is possible for one to strike a good balance between studies and talent not only in music field but also in other arenas such as sports. The rapper has received many congratulatory messages online, some with a hint of irony by netizens on twitter who are not quite satisfied with the rappers performance and others that doubled his academic potential from the start.

For parents with kids in school that are also talented in non-academic areas, it is important to help kids nurture their talents and offer them guidance and assistance where required. In the traditional pre-CBC system in Kenya many parents were hesitant to support their kids in the fear that their kids indulgence in non academic fields would result in failure in there school exams but this notion is now challenged by experiences of students that excel and are also involved in other non academic fields.
