Whitney Manana is a fashion enthusiast and aspiring Kenyan fashion and commercial model. She has always had a fascination with fashion and decided to pursue her interest in fashion. We had an opportunity for a glimpse into her world on the interview;
- How would you like to introduce yourself?
1. I’m Whitney Manana.. a fashion enthusiast.
2. When did you discover your passion for modeling?
2. I discovered my passion for modelling when I was 15years old.. actually I had an indepth passion for fashion .. I would make thrilling outfits out of other raggedy ones.
3. Who do you look up to for inspiration?
3. I look up to @aliyahsinterlude.. I feel like her fashion sense is top notch.. it’s just not something out of the ordinary..
4. Which brands do you aspire to work with in future?
4. I aspire to work with Nivea and basically any clothlines and make up brands like Maybelline.
5. What are your aspirations and goals in modeling this year?
5. Reaching my potential and also helping others along the journey.
6. What are your other interests apart from modeling?
6. Apart from modelling I do dance .. and I’m also so much into going out and trying new things.
7. Are you signed to any modeling agency?
7. No, I’m currently not signed to any modeling agency.
8. Which creatives, designers and photographers have you worked with?
8. Well I’ve worked with @Marco touch and @Dolled by millex those are make up brands .. for photographers I’ve worked with @pillerframe photography @pizzo photography @Manyatta photography @ mestarvide studio just to mention a few.
9. What challenges and opportunities have you encountered as a model?
9. Well getting gigs is not easy especially when you are not really signed by a reknown modelling agency.
