1. Hi, hello how would you like to introduce yourself?
_Hello hello. My name is Claris Kamau. I’m 22 years old. I am a professional teacher and counsellor yet to graduate in December from Maasai Mara University. Most importantly i am a Model who is 5′ 5” tall and size 6. I’m the Miss Popularity Maasai Mara University 2022-2023. I’m also an artist where i focus on drawing and i love dancing, cooking and reading novels._
 2. When did you discover your passion for fashion and modeling?
_I discovered my passion for fashion long before i discovered model life. Back in lower primary I’d find myself drawing different styles of dresses and realized I’d want to be a fashion designer. I’d design uniforms and bedsheets during school events all the way to high-school. For modeling, i discovered the passion in 2022 where when i joined the university in 2019, some models had approached me and pleaded i join the modeling crew. That’s when i finally made the decision to join in 2022._
 3. Who are some of your influences and source of inspiration in modeling?
_As i joined modeling, i realized I’d enjoy watching videos of models doing their thing including Naomi Campbell and Bella Hadid. But i felt influenced by Mercy Gitahi also know as Remcy. I’d admire her confidence and walk which encouraged me to look up to her. I’m sure she’s unaware. My inspiration came from the two that i had mentioned where when i looked at their journey i feel motivated especially Naomi Campbell who was the first black model to be featured on the Vogue Magazine._
