In the recent Hotelier Awards, Mellen along her team of hoteliers from the Qmins restaurant located in Karen opposite Bomas of Kenya received the hotelier of the year award, a prestigious award recognizing service excellence , distinction and high level professionalism in the Kenyan hospitality sector.
Mellen Achieng who is also a professional model, has made a balance between her career in hospitality and her passion for modeling as an award winning fashion and runway model having secured many crown and beauty pageant titles including; Miss Wezesha Initiative -2022, Miss Keep it real 2022, Miss Untamed Siaya county 2022 among other key pageant titles.
As she strides forward to new heights, Mellen asserts that team work, cooperation and integrity has been her pillars in work together with colleagues towards achieving her goals and sharing her success milestones to inspire others in hospitality and modeling.
