The deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has been keen to associate himself with the often embarrassing talk by his fellow colleague in the Kenya Kwanza government. With the public feeling the immense pressure of the high cost of living and the recent increment in the cost fuel that hit the 200 ksh mark for the first time in history, Rigathi is keen on a PR move distancing himself from the comments made by Moses Kuria.

Moses Kuria’s abrasive remarks about the populace complaining of the increased cost of fuel came off as being disrepectful and without regard to the sufferings of the citizens when he said that those complaining ought to dig up their own oil wells and get the fuel from their oil wells instead.
