Here is a list of the top 10 events to look out for in 2023!

In regards to entertainment matters, 2023 is bound to be bigger than 2022 comparing with the brief of the events and concerts we are to expect this year. Some of the biggest highlights last year included; ShinCity the music concert experience by Nyashinski, Sol Fest by Sauti sol and the Sol Generation held in December, Nairobi Festival, the most wanted , WSTRN concert, as well as Nigerian superstar Ruger’s concerts in Meru and the end year concert in Mombasa city.

This year, some of the biggest shows to look out for include this top 10;

  1. The Airtel One Voice concert – Last year Airtel telecoms company with other stakeholders introduced the one voice music challenge which will culminate to an online music competition which will later be followed by a concert to showcase and celebrate winners from the participating countries.
  2. The E-360 music awards gala & concert – The annual music awards has continued to attract big East African talent. In the post voting stage, the awards will host a music gala and concert with also awards and celebrates music celebrities under the various award categories.
  3. The Miss Elegance Kenya 2023 – The fashion and beauty pageant was a big hit last year held on 8th October to celebrate modeling and fashion design talent in Kenya. The pageant is expected to be a notch bigger and better this year.
  4. The Fiesta Mashariki Festival – the grand music and social show is one to mark and watch out on the calendar for party lovers looking for all the fun in one party in Nairobi city. The concert which offers platform to budding artists in diverse music backgrounds will be a follow up to the previous edition held in November, 2023 with dates to be confirmed through the festivals social media.
  5. Blankets and Wine Festival – The most consistent festival that preceded the Koroga festival and curated by Muthoni Ndonga’s company is a key highlight from its creative concept and list of outstanding performers both from Kenya and foreign artists that headline the show every edition.
  6. Central Wacka Wacka Festival – The premier arts and culture festival held to celebrate music arts and culture will be making a comeback this year and its one to look out for with diverse exhibitions and art showcase.
  7. Sol Fest – As Sauti sol is consistently working on new music perhaps an album this year, we can expect a bigger and better sol fest. The show will be a follow up of the outstanding festival that was held at KICC in December 17th.
  8. Nairobi Festival – The 2nd edition of the Nairobi fest by the Nairobi county government in 047 will also take place at the end of the year in December over the Jamhuri celebration week.
  9. Driq Events Pool Parties – A key highlight in the city’s entertainment scene is the sequence of events organised by driq events from fashion showcase to pool parties that attract a super charged crowd ready for great fun.
  10. Mr & Miss Glamour Nation – The fashion pageant slated for March 2023, brings together fashion lovers from all walks of life to celebrate and crown fashion and beauty talent in Kenya.
